Construction management is a professional service that uses specialized, project management techniques to oversee the planning, design, and construction of a project, from its beginning to its end.
What are the Roles and Responsibilities of the Construction Manager ?
Common duties of a construction manager include planning, directing, and coordinating activity on construction sites, overseeing project design, hiring and supervising workers, choosing contractors, and managing the procurement process. They are also responsible for preparing budgets and estimates, reporting progress to clients, and complying with legal requirements. Construction managers do not typically do any of the actual construction.
